
In 1997, we launched a research project focused on determining the effect of
lifestyle changes - specifically a vegetarian wholesome diet, moderate aerobic exercise and stress
control by Rajyoga meditation.
The project was co-partnered by the Defense Institute of Physiology and Allied Sciences and the Morarji
Desai National Institute of Yoga, and sponsored by the Central Council for Research in Yoga & Naturopathy.
Other collaborating medical institutes were the J J Group of Hospitals & Grant Medical College (Mumbai),
U N Mehta Institute of Cardiology (Ahmedabad), G B Pant Hospital (Delhi), V S Hospital (Ahmedabad) and
Care Hospital (Hyderabad).

India is an agriculture dominated country and 70% of the population depends upon agriculture for their livelihood. After independence, the urban areas have been developed comparitive to the rural areas which are still undeveloped/underdeveloped. The aim of the Rural Development Wing is to re-establish spiritual, cultural and moral values in rural population. Through spiritual knowledge and the Education of Easy Rajayoga, removal of blind faith, Rural Cleanliness, Co-operative efforts of Rural Population for Development, de-addiction etc., can be easily achieved. By applying the technique of Yogic Farming with less expenditure, more beneficial satvic, Healthy and poisnous residue free food, fruits and vegetables can be grown.

A Project proposal regarding Development and Empowerment of Adolescents
The project under proposal shall be initiated during the year 2007-08 in all most all states of the country for the children who are presently in class 7, 8 and 9. Under this scheme upto the year 2009-10 about 6000 schools shall be benefited through mass campaigning and personal contact programms for which around 6000 faculty members shall have to be trained for activating the adolescents groups under scheme. It will cover around 16,50,000 students all over the country. The faculty members shall under go a 5 days intensive training under the experienced master trainers.
